Jan De Cock is an important figure on the new Belgian art scene. His work has already been exhibited in the Tate Modern in London and in the MoMA in New York. As a visual artist, Jan De Cock makes installations where creation itself is part of the exhibition. Many of his works are achievements and feature his own photography. He uses 20th century abstract art techniques to explore the effects of modern designs and mass production in the world of art.
