Riccardo Pagni was born in Forte dei Marmi, in the region of Tuscany, Italy, in 1936. He passed away in 2017.
He studied at the Academy of Carrara and at the Lycée Artitique in Florence.

He is famous for his wall objects and aero mobiles. He has had major exhibitions since 1980 in museums and galleries in Belgium, France, Germany Italy, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Austria, Spain and Switzerland.
