Curtiz - Jill Tryptich - Polaroid works

3 original mixed media works based on polaroids, straight from the studio.
Each framed separately in polaroid based mat and frame, easy to remove if preferred.
Each frame is 18 x 16 cm, each polaroid is 10.8 x 8.8 cm.

Kris 'Curtiz' De Meester (°1972) is a Belgium based film director, photographer, casting director and visual artist. He started his career in 1990, taking on different roles with many of the film industry’s finest. Over the decades, he has teamed up with numerous award-winning directors. Such included big names like Lars von Trier, Terence Davies, Thomas Vinterberg, Timo Vuorensola, Wolfgang Becker, Philippe Grandrieux, and Koen Mortier.

With his first series of works 'back' Curtiz examines the physical dark side of the moon of humans. The sort of pure side of everyone. Mostly untouched, mostly unexplored, basically unknown to most of us.
