Coming straight from the August Taevernier collection. 
August Taevernier was primarily a respected art connoisseur-collector and author of, among other things, the oeuvre catalog of the graphic work of James Ensor.

Taevernier starts collecting in 1929. The quality of this collection is remarkable for the fact that it contains all the prints that Ensor once etched. August Taevernier was chairman of the Friends of the Museum of Ghent and member of the Modern Art Committee of the Royal Museums for Fine Arts in Brussels.
