In his quadrivium series Kazushi explores the possibilities of deconstruction, while remaining open for interpretation.
 
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Masaki Kazushi was born in Osaka Japan, started painting at 7 and continued through high school. He was an abstract expressionist early on being chastised by his elementary teachers for his dreamy non-realist work.
In college his artistic nature asserted itself and became a baker. In the following years he collected art, wishing he had created what he collected.
His later career, Kazushi began working from imagination rather than direct observation. 
He and his family lived in Osaka for a time before eventually moving to French Riviera and Belgium.
