Robrecht De Roock (Ninove, 25 March 1971 - 23 January 2005) was a Flemish actor and artist. He died in 2005 due to a heart attack.
He was fascinated by the artist Herman Brood and his work. He made multiple original works based on the figure of Herman Brood.
This piece 'Red Bread' on thick panel was bought directly from the artist in 2003 during an exhibition in Antwerp, Belgium.
